Cindy Single Bed with Storage Headboard

The Cindy Single Bed is a sweet first big bed with a rounded, arched headboard that adds a soft, storybook feel to a child's room. The tall headboard doubles as storage for bedtime books, a night light and treasures, so you may not need a bedside table in a small room. The headboard, side rails and footboard are solid rubberwood, and the slatted base means no separate bed base is needed. Also available in King Single size. Prefer a squared-off look? See the Jade Single.

Key features

• Arched storage headboard: a soft, curved headboard with three open cubbies on top and a flip-down storage compartment below for bedtime books, a night light and small treasures.
• Storybook details: vertical panelling and round finials on the footboard posts give it a classic cottage feel.
• Compact footprint: a single leaves more floor space for play in smaller or shared bedrooms.
• Solid rubberwood frame: headboard, side rails and footboard in solid rubberwood, finished in white.
• Slatted base: no ensemble base needed – just add a mattress.
• Add a trundle or safety rail: the Kids Trundle Bed (Single) slides underneath for sleepovers – save $30 when bought with this bed. A Kids Bed Safety Rail is also available.

Why choose a single?

A single mattress is 92 × 188 cm, the most compact standard bed size in Australia. It leaves more floor space for play and storage, which makes it a great fit for smaller bedrooms, shared rooms and younger children moving up from a cot or toddler bed.
